This is the first issue "Greater Chicago" column written by Toni O'Kelley
(the first African American female to become a member of a major corps
in the Midwest, namely the Desplaines Vanguard - and the first
African American female to write for a major Drum Corps Magazine).  
Later, after the column became so successful and after receiving so much
mail from around the country, the column eventually became the "Hap'nin' Set".
